Geoff Steurer - Founder and Program Director

Geoff is a licensed marriage and family therapist and is the founding director of LifeSTAR of St. George. Geoff is the co-author of Love You, Hate the Porn: Healing a Relationship Damaged by Virtual Infidelity. He also co-produced the 6-part audio series called Strengthening Recovery Through Strengthening Marriage: Healing from Pornography Addiction. He also co-authored many of the LifeStar workbooks and regularly presents at local and national conferences on topics related addiction, betrayal trauma, and marriage recovery. Geoff is the host of the Illuminate recovery podcast. He completed a bachelors degree in communications studies from Brigham Young University and a masters degree in marriage and family therapy from Auburn University.  He and his wife are the parents of four children.

Jeff Ford - Clinical Director 

Jeff is a licensed marriage and family therapist and specializes in treating pornography and sexual addiction. He also works with spouses and family members that are affected by addiction. Jeffrey received his Bachelor Degree at the University of Utah in Psychology. He earned his Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Purdue University. He has authored numerous workbooks for the LifeStar Network, articles, and chapters on addiction recovery and has spoken extensively about the effect that pornography and addiction has on individuals and families. His favorite pastimes include being with his family and doing anything outdoors.

Amy Cluff - LifeStar Therapist

Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been serving Southern Utah in social work capacities since 1999. Amy received her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Utah in 2004. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Association for Play Therapy, and the Association of Mormon Counselors and Psychotherapists. Amy specializes in therapy for women, children, and families. She is licensed to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for most mental health disorders. Her training is in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, attachment and relationship therapy, attention and impulse control, blended family, co-parenting, and divorce issues. She also specializes in working with partners and family members of addicts. Amy is committed to providing excellent treatment for her clients and staying educated in her field. She is available in her community for presentations, workshops, and service opportunities.Amy has a private therapy practice in St. George, Utah. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, yoga, and exercise.
 

Todd Graves - LifeStar Therapist

Todd completed his graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy and his Bachelors in Family and Human Development at Utah State University in Logan Utah. He has advanced training in EMDR and specializes in treating addictions and trauma. He has worked with individuals, couples, and families since 2002. In that time, he has worked in a number of settings, including a private clinic, specializing in the treatment of domestic violence, a community mental health agency, in-home youth and family counseling, and adolescent residential treatment. Originally from the Puget Sound area of Washington State, Todd has lived in Utah since he married his wife in 1998. They are the parents of five children.

 

Dara Larsen - LifeStar Therapist

Dara Larsen is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in St. George, Utah with nearly 15 years of experience. Dara earned her graduate degree in counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in Boise, Idaho and her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah. She has worked in non-profit agencies, schools, private practice and co-owned an addiction treatment facility for several years.Dara believes that every individual has the capacity for healing and change. She feels passionate about encouraging clients to grow and reach their personal goals. Her areas of focus include; grief and loss, childhood and adult trauma, family of origin issues, anxiety and depression, adoption and fertility issues and sexual addiction trauma and recovery. Dara’s style is collaborative and encourages clients to make and set their own goals in therapy while also facilitating an increase in emotional intelligence. She uses cognitive-behavioral techniques, Adlerian therapy techniques, Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy, and “tapping” (EFT) in her work. Dara grew up in the Middle East and has traveled and lived in a variety of places throughout her life. Married in 1996, she and her husband are raising their three children together.
 

Taylor Chambers - LifeStar Therapist

Taylor Chambers is a licensed marriage and family therapist and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Taylor graduated with a bachelor's degree in Family Studies from Brigham Young University and then obtained a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Taylor's experience has been in treating sexual addiction and betrayal trauma as well as working with teens. He enjoys reading, hiking, and birding as well as being a part of the change process for so many people. The most important thing in Taylor's world is his family.

Jon Worlton - LifeStar Therapist

Jon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and has been practicing full time since 1992. He graduated from Brigham Young University receiving a Bachelors in Social Work. He then completed his Master's in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Jon has specialized in working with issues of abuse and addiction. For the first seven years of his career he worked for an agency specializing in the treatment of different forms of violence and abuse. He has also worked full time in three different correctional facilities. In addition to his full time employment, Jon has worked part time for LDS Family services, Dixie Regional Medical Center, and an outpatient domestic violence treatment program. At the present time he has a small private practice where he works primarily with clients struggling with sexual addiction and eating disorders. Jon and his wife are the parents of four children. When not working Jon enjoys spending time at home, running, attending sporting events, reading aloud with whoever will listen, camping, and participating in church service. Jon loves the work he does, and feels honored to be a participant in the healing process.
